Motherblessing Ceremonies

What is a mother blessing?

A mother blessing is a special ceremony to mark and honor the rite of passage we experience when we become mothers.

A mother blessing is a gentle, spiritual event that empowers women to feel confident, relaxed, and excited for her upcoming birthing experience.

A mother blessing is an ancient ritual that has been replaced in Western culture with a baby shower. Baby showers, while important and generous, are largely focused on “things.” A blessing is a time to focus on the mother, reassure her that she is capable of giving birth, and pamper her with healing touch and positive energy. Mother blessings are appropriate for all birthing women, whether your are giving birth for the first or tenth time.
