Included in my labor doula services are:
2 prenatal visits. The purpose of these visits are for us to get to know each other better. I can help you work through your fears and desires about your upcoming birth experience. I can also help you to write a birth plan if you c
hoose to have one.
Continuous support throughout labor. I commit to being on-call 24/7 for you from 38-42 weeks. Once you are making some progress in labor, I can come to your home to help you until it is time to transfer to the hospital. Or I can meet you at the hospital instead. I will remain with you until approximately 2 hours post-labor.
1 postnatal visit. The purpose of this visit is to check in with you, see how you are recovering, and how nursing is progressing. And, of course, I love to visit with newborn babies!
